The the winners of the 2017 World Press Photo competitions have been revealed. This year’s grand prize goes to Associated Press photographer Burhan Ozbilici, for his photo depicting Mevlüt Mert Altıntaş after having assassinated the Russian ambassador to Turkey at an art exhibition in Ankara on 19 December 2016.
