Five Dutch photographers nominated for SWPA 2015
Five Dutch photographers are nominated for the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards 2015, one of the largest photography competitions in the world.
The five photographers are selected for both the professional and open competition from 173 440 entries from 171 different countries. Never before has there been so many entries for this contest.

Series description: Hannah and Alena are two sisters growing up in the Waldviertel, the rural area between Vienna and Czech Republic.

The SWPA now being organized for the eighth time is one of the most prestigious photo contests in the world, and gives international awareness and opportunities for winning and nominated photographers.
All nominated photos are from 1 to May 18 shown at Somerset House in London as part of the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition.
The professional finalists will soon make (April 23, 2015) on the title Sony World Photography Awards Photographer of the Year presented as the Iris d’or, plus $ 30,000 and professional Sony camera equipment. The winning amateur will receive $ 5,000 plus a professional Sony camera equipment.
