The Amsterdam Photo Club is proud to start a new collaboration with the Rockarchive Amsterdam Gallery. Giving the opportunity for our members to have their photography printed and sold as art pieces to photography collectors and tourists passing by.
The gallery is located on the Prinsengracht. It has a growing collection of classic images, mainly focusing on rock and jazz. In the last year they have expanded their collection to also cover classical photos of Amsterdam and the artprints of the citywork of French painter Igor Marceau.
The photos are printed on hahnemuhle fine art paper in black & white.
How to get your photo exhibited
The Amsterdam Photo Club will schedule regular events for photographers to submit their photos. Rockarchive Amsterdam will pick their 3 favorite photos to be featured and sold in the store.
Pricing
If selected, the photographer will only need to submit the photo in high resolution to the gallery. The gallery will take care of the printing and framing. The photo will be sold in approx 20×30 cm prints for a price of 39,75 Eur. The photographer will receive 10 Eur for each print sold. Not intended to make you a rich photographer. But a photographer that has had his/her photography sold in a real art gallery.
Promotion
The Amsterdam Photo Club will take photos of your exhibited work in the gallery to promote the sale and for use on your own website, blog or social media.
Converting to B&W
If the photo is in color, please note it is best to make it black and white by reducing saturation and keep the formatting in RGB, rather than converting it to grey scale. This will ensure better quality B&W prints.
